Sargam Koushal wins Mrs World 2022 title after 21 years
Sargam Koushal made history when, while representing India in the pageant, she finally won the Mrs. World 2022 title after 21 years of trying. After overcoming opponents from 63 different nations, the 32-year-old from Las Vegas took first place in the competition.
Sargam Koushal beat Mrs. Polynesia to win the title.
The Jammu and Kashmir-born beauty queen previously worked as a teacher in Vizag.
Her husband works for the Indian Navy.

Digital India Awards 2022: India’s Smart Cities Mission wins Platinum Icon
The Ministry of Housing & Urban Affairs` initiative "DataSmart Cities: Empowering Cities through Data" earned the Platinum Icon award in the Smart Cities Mission category of the Digital India Awards 2022. The Digital India awards instituted in 2009 are one of a kind in India for honouring the efforts of different Government entities in the digital realm. These are conducted by the National Informatics Centre (NIC) under the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). The seventh edition of Digital India Awards (DIA) is being held in 2022.
